From software entrepreneurship to industrial decision systems.
Christoph Hoffmann builds companies and operating systems at the point where technology, industrial reality and commercial decisions meet. As Founder and Managing Director of JCIM, he works with industrial organisations that have strong products, deep technical knowledge and real customer access—but need a clearer path from those assets to a market-ready service, digital proposition or repeatable business model.
His route into technology began with mathematics and computer science at Humboldt University Berlin. In 2001, he founded BeagleSoft. The company developed customer-specific business applications and integration solutions, giving him direct responsibility for architecture, implementation, delivery, commercial decisions and client relationships. His present work is therefore the continuation of a technical and entrepreneurial path, not a later shift into either technology or strategy.
In 2011, he founded JCIM. The work widened from custom software and platform delivery into connected services, digital products, industrial information systems, market validation, business-model design and operational implementation. Across assignments in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Southern Africa, he has worked between executive teams, domain specialists, commercial functions and technology groups. That range is less about collecting sector labels than about learning how to make difficult systems legible across organisational boundaries.

Turn ambiguity into a decision system.
Hoffmann’s central operating move is to turn ambiguity into a decision system. He separates facts from assumptions, maps the dependencies that make a problem hard, and identifies the smallest proof capable of changing a meaningful decision. A pilot is not treated as theatre.
